The mission of the Wood County Historical Society is to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Wood County. To financially support these efforts, the Society uses the interest from our endowment fund to develop and maintain permanent and traveling exhibits, educational programs, outreach, collections preservation materials, and volunteer services. The Museum receives 12,000 visitors annually and provides educational services to 2,000 school children each year.
