German-American program examines loyalty and scandal

The Wood County Historical Center and Museum, in partnership with the Department of German, Russian and East Asian Languages at BGSU, will present its annual German-American program.
The program is free and open to the public.
- PROGRAM AND DISCUSSION: Local author and Museum's Education Programs Coordinator, Michael McMaster, will present his recent book, Henry County in the Great War: German-Americans, Patriots, and Loyalty. This book details the loyalty trials imposed on the German-Americans during World War One in Henry County, Ohio.
- GERMAN FOOD: The BGSU German Club will provide samples of German foods for tasting.
- SELF-GUIDED MUSEUM TOURS : take your time to walk through the former County Infirmary.

The Museum is located
at 13660 County Home Road in Bowling Green.
I-75 to exit 179, east towards Fremont on Rt. 6 (about 1/4 mile),
then right on County Home Road.
The event is free, but a suggested donation of $4 per adult and $1 for students and children is always appreciated.
