We strive to preserve local history and provide edcuational resources through exhibits, events, and progams suitable for the community as well as the long-distance visitor.
Membership to the Historical Society helps ensure preservation efforts for generations, and provides you with discounts to the museum and events.
The Wood County Historical Center & Museum is managed jointly by the Wood County Commissioners Doris I. Herringshaw, Ed.D - President; Craig LaHote - Vice President, & Dr. Theodore H. Bowlus - Member; the Wood County Historical Society; and the Wood County Park District.
